An Open Letter to Maytag

What’s with your new commercial? The one with the monster truck being driven on top of two rows of Maytag washers.

Impressive, but this isn’t exactly what I need out of a washing machine. I suspect others feel the same (I also suspect that that truck on your commercial is actually a toy, but that’s beside the point).

I need a washing machine that:

1) Never leaks water

2) Won’t break down regardless of the fact that I overload it on a daily basis

3) Withstands the occasional toy my two-year-old tosses in the laundry

I also desire excellent customer service from you, the manufacturer.

Frankly, if indeed my Maytag can handle such inappropriate abuse, I should have no problem getting free parts when malfunction or general break down occurs.
