Housekeeping Help

I can offer up little advice in the way of keeping a house. My house remains in a constant state of clutterfulness, even though I work on finding order in the chaos nearly every day.

But never fear, my toilets are safe to use, and the kitchen surfaces get well washed and even sanitized – I know how to use hot water and make decent cleaner from vinegar and baking soda.

The best advice I can give is to get ideas and help from others. You know:

* The Flylady

* Heloise Yes, I grew up looking at back issues of Good Housekeeping magazine

* Your friends.  And I don’t mean the ones who hire cleaning ladies. Wait, maybe I do.

* Your mom. Mine loves doing little cleaning jobs, so I just save some for her when she comes to town

Most of all, don’t give up. I will keep working on my house until it’s as good as can be.

Of course by then, my kids will teenagers and I’ll probably have to start all over again.
